ELD Certification Process Coming in Weeks, says OTA

Canada requires third party certification for Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) to be in compliance with the upcoming Jun 2021 FMCSA mandate.  Transport Canada expects these facilities to be in operation later this month.  Device suppliers in the U.S are allowed to self-certify their ELD’s.  Canada is adding the third party certification ruling largely to avoid tampering.   …read more
