U.S Drops Tariffs on Aluminum

In August the U.S announced a 10% tariff on Canadian imports of aluminum. Just as Canada was expected to retaliate with their own tariff increases, the U.S backed away due a decline in imports compared to earlier in the year.  They say they will reintroduce tariffs if actual imports increase again.  Canada responded saying they will introduce their own retaliatory tariffs if this happens.  …read more
