SFL Celebrates 20th Anniversary

This month we are celebrating 20 years in business. You have all seen the stats: most businesses do not make it to 20 years. Not only are we still here, but we are stronger than ever.  I make reference to the Pareto Principle, the rule states that: “for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes”. Basically 80% of our sales come from 20% of our customers. I want to take a moment to offer a special thank you to these customers for trusting and depending on SFL for all their transportation needs.

SFL started in the basement of the founder’s home and from there added one employee serving a handful of clients.  To date the business has grown to a firm of 20 people serving a vast number of clientele. These employees over the years, are what has made this company what it is today. I want to send out a special thank you to my team for their continued loyalty, hard work and dedication not only to the company but to the clients we serve.

On September 1, 2000, we launched our business initially servicing cross-border USA/Canada and over these years have extended our services to Domestic Canada and Domestic USA.  We are utilizing many equipment types from Sprinters, Straight trucks, Vans, Flatbeds, Step-decks, Double Drops and Floats for Oversize.  Over these 20 years our slogan continues to be our operational motivation, One Call Moves All

In October 2019 we were all very excited to move to our own new building as the company positioned itself to allow for growth and expansion for our existing clients and future customer needs.
