Pandemic Fails to Stop Human Trafficking
Unfortunately, even in the height of the Pandemic and worldwide lockdown human trafficking has been very active. TAT (Truckers Against Trafficking) was founded in 2009 and expanded to Canada in September 2019. Victims to trafficking are all ages, race, gender, background, citizenship and immigration status. However the majority are women and children. TAT’s goals are to saturate the trucking and related industries with information.
