Hamilton International Airport to get 60,000-sq.-ft. cross-dock facility

A 60,000-sq.-ft. cross-dock is set to be built at Hamilton International Airport to accommodate growth in the airport’s air cargo business, officials announced. The new facility will include multiple truck docks; refrigeration for perishables such as flowers, fruits and vegetables and pharmaceutical products; a live animal centre; as well as cargo and courier handling facilities.
