Diesel- Lowest Price in 4 years
In the last week of 2014, diesel prices have taken another dip falling 6.8 cents over the past week. This is the lowest price consumers have seen since December 2010. The spread between diesel and gasoline prices has peaked, showing a disparity of approximately 80 cents per gallon in the US, as gasoline prices have been falling at a significant rate, diesel prices have been decreasing at a much slower rate. The cost of gasoline is currently at a 6 year low, and is also the fastest decrease in price since the early 90’s.
