Canada increases, harmonizes low-value shipment threshold with US
Canada and the US have increased and harmonized the value thresholds for expedited customs clearance to CDN$2,500 and US$2,500, respectively, according to an announcement from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The amounts represent an increase from the current levels of CDN$1,600 for Canada and US$2,000 for the US.
